  Incredible off the grid camping area provided by the national forest department, close enough to town to run for supplies yet remote enought to get away and unwind! Truely a treasure and a must see location, however it
  could be a bit better managed by the forest rangers as there are quite a few folks abusing the area (aka: homeless making themselves permanent residents) Police had to respond to the area when an altercation arose between some overnight visitors from out of state and a "permanent" homeless woman screaming at them claming a spot was hers because she had lived there for three months! Not a place to bring the kids pr let your gaurd down.
